History: Nightshadow was the second sparkling born to/made by Ironhide and Chromia three years after Lunarstorm and before the war. Nightshadow has the same attitude and same weapons as his father Ironhide and is almost just as trigger happy. He cares deeply for his family, friends, and spark mate Firestorm. Nightshadow is extremely loyal to his leader Saber who is also his best friend. Before the war began Nightshadow was able to spend a lot of time with his spark mate Firestorm before they were sent to Earth where they became spark mates. The day the war began Nightshadow was out on patrol with his father and some other Autobots when they received news that Iacon was under attack by the Decepticons. Nightshadow knew that his sisters were in the city with other younglings and wanted to get to them before anything happened to them but he was only in time to save Nightfire and a few others since a lot of the younglings including his sister Lunarstorm were already killed before they got there. When he arrived on Earth he didn't know if anyone else had survived the trip. While searching through every city and town in Japan where he touched down at he took on the form of a Dodge Ram 4X4 since he knew his Cybertronian alternate mode was going to attract attention. After about a month Nightshadow reunited with Firestorm and the two of them remained together long enough to bond and find a few more Autobot younglings. After about two years he reunited with his sister Nightfire and was surprised to learn that she had bonded with Saber and already had a sparkling with him. Nightshadow is extremely protective of his sister and spark mate since he doesn't want to lose them to the Decepticons.
